Hour of Code

Computer Science Education Week is celebrated during the first week of December every year to commemorate the birthday of computing pioneer Admiral Grace Murray Hopper. The Hour of Code takes place during that week as a way to introduce students to computer science and show them that anyone can learn to code. That means you!

Give coding a try! A click on the banner at the top of the page will lead you to dozens of tutorials for all ages and abilities. I've highlighted a few of these tutorials at the links below to get you started. So let's dive in! Happy coding!
**(Hint: If you have trouble with any HOC activities, try a different browser.)**

Interested in learning even more? This page < Beyond an Hour of Code > offers many more options to practice coding, learn programming languages, and even create your own apps.
